Our Story

Hello, I’m the owner of The Chunky Bear

And the bear that started it all.

Born and raised in Colorado and now calling Arizona home, I've spent my whole life with one very special companion: a single teddy bear I've kept since I was little. He's still with me today.

That bear has been a source of comfort, safety, and quiet joy for as long as I can remember — and somewhere along the way, I realized just how much that one little friend has meant to me.

The Chunky Bear was born from that feeling. It's a small, independent shop for toys & collectibles — squishies, stuffed animals, plushies, and the kinds of friends that bring a little extra comfort to everyday life.

Because everyone deserves a teddy bear of their own.
